2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT: Fuel-Efficient, Clean, and Reliable
2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT
The Yamaha SRViper is one of the reliable players in the 125HP class. The streamlined and aerodynamic lines are reflected in the quality of the second-generation body.
The naturally aspirated 1,049cc engine produces a lot of torque for outstanding throttle response.
The power delivery is smooth, and the Rider’s ergonomics are advanced. The SRViper—like all Yamaha four-strokes—is extremely fuel efficient, clean, and reliable.
2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT

The SRViper L-TX GT is equipped with a Fox Zero QS3 shock for a premium upgrade to this model.
Fox high-pressure gas coil-over shock features a piggyback chamber for reduced fading, excellent control, and three easily adjustable compression damping performance settings, allowing Riders to quickly and easily adjust the ride to ride conditions and preferences.
The dual-level coil springs provide an additional sag, slightly dropping the GT’s nose for a sharp steering response.
Considered the best high-performance terrain track, the 1.25-inch lug design from RipSaw II provides the outstanding acceleration, braking control, and handling in various conditions.
2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT Comfort
Handlebar control has a left-handed switch cluster that allows ‘on-the-fly’ access to the hand warmer adjuster and multi-step thumb.
The information on the multi-function gauge can be easily selected with a convenient toggle switch. The push-button reverse gear switch is also located in the left-hand cluster.
The right side of the bar is clean with an ergonomically shaped throttle lever and a simple, stand-alone emergency stop switch.
The Hayes ‘Stealth’ brake cylinders are equipped with composite brake levers that provide excellent modulation for better feeling and strong stopping performance.
High-intensity LED headlamps are lighter and brighter than traditional incandescent bulb designs and produce accurate, focused light with significantly longer life. A brilliant LED tail/brake light assembly complements the LED headlights.
The medium-smoked polycarbonate windshield protects high-mileage riders from the coldest days.
The windshield incorporates a small lip at the top to deflect wind and snow up and down the Rider with speed, while the widened edges provide additional protection and warmth for the hands.
The GT windshield is also designed to accommodate optional mirrors. The windscreen is thicker than the standard windshield to quickly reduce mirror vibration and features pre-marked grooves for easy installation of the accessory mirror.
Exceptional high-density foams are sculpted to aid in an easy transition from sitting to standing and are shaped to allow maximum rider mobility from side to side.
The durometer is sturdy, with just the right amount of comfort for long days in the saddle and its gripping surface helps hold the Rider in position while grabbing a handful of throttle.

2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT Performance
The airbox design and forward-facing engine intake system on the 1,049cc Genesis engine resulted in maximum airflow and no starvation.
This ensures full power and throttle response. In addition, the high-flow stainless steel exhaust header is cooled by snow for optimum performance without excessive heat and noise.
Featuring a Yamaha drive and driven clutch, the YVXC system delivers smooth interaction, instant acceleration, fast-reacting rear gearshifts, and cool operating temperatures for long belt life.
The YVXC clutch system gives Yamaha its signature smooth power delivery, responsive engine feel, and unmatched quality.
Considered the best high-performance terrain track, the RipSaw II’s 1.25-inch lug design delivers outstanding acceleration, braking control, and handling in various conditions.
Two-piston brake calipers apply a braking force directly to the drive shaft and are mated to a large-sized rotor.
The ‘Stealth’ master cylinder and the ‘Stealth’ composite brake lever offer excellent modulation and feel with the ergonomically precise operation.
2024 Yamaha SRViper L-TX GT Handling
The over-structure design of the SRV chassis creates a rigid mounting point for the unique 30-degree SRV front suspension design.
The inclined mounting design directs the impact back to the most vital significance of the chassis, creating a more stable and predictable ride.
The tall, lightweight forged spindle helps deliver a solid front suspension with controlled camber geometry for stability and light steering effort.
Advanced aluminum extrusions combine with precision casting to create a strong, lightweight, and intuitive chassis for the Rider.
The over-structure design provided stiffness and was developed to spread severe impacts throughout the chassis, making it extremely tough.
The SR 137 long-travel dual-shock rear suspension offers premium ride comfort with excellent bump bridging capabilities, traction, and tunability thanks to the premium Fox 2.0 QS3 rear shock absorber and HPG shock center.
The SR 137 is a ‘paired’ suspension with a unique sliding forearm mount. With movement up to half an inch in the forearm slot, the system allows the SR 137 to deliver controlled (reduced) ski lift during acceleration while maintaining forearm impact compliance.
The multi-function casing is made of lightweight magnesium and has many functions. It mainly serves as a chain housing with an integrated backward push button.
It also provides a rigid mounting location for the upper chassis spar and serves as a long-distance oil reservoir.
The multi-functional design makes the chassis lightweight and more compact resulting in better ride and handling.
